Purple 4

$180.00

10.75 x 14” mixed media on raw canvas.

This collection of work was created by reusing multiple materials, from the single canvas piece the artwork started out on, to the stretcher bars the canvases are stretched on. This piece started as a 36 x 48” single piece of canvas that I reworked multiple times. After letting the piece dry, I flipped the canvas over to notice all the magical marks the paint created. From there I sized up different areas on the huge canvas piece and turned it into 5 different pieces of work that you are now viewing. I hope these pieces bring you a sense of renewal and belief that there’s always beauty in the chaos, even when it feels like nothing is working.

A unique thing about this piece compared to the others in this series are the staple marks drifting down the side from when I was working on the single piece of canvas.

Artwork will be signed by artist either on front, back, or both.
